In just 6 short months, Nintendo has issued a price drop for the 3DS (Now the title is a lot more clever). The new price is $80 cheaper then before, with an MSRP of $169.99 as of August 12.
Those who were early adopters of the system receive 20 downloadable titles (10 GBA, 10 NES) before year's end.
This move is probably brought on by the PSVita, who matched 3DS' original $250 price tag, along with Nintendo's falling profits.
3DS' will be sold at a loss now, but with so many purchasers, hopefully this will give the kick the 3DS needs (although more games would be nice)to finally be successful.
wow, i guess it's a good time to buy it, right?
ReplyDeletePerfect time! Wal-Mart is putting it on sale early. All you have to do is access the e-sho by the 11th to redeem your games. So you get the best of both worlds!
